THE VISIT OF THE RECTOR OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NIS TO THE RECTOR OF THE UNIVERSITY OF OVIEDO

As part of the last activities on the project “Strengthening Teaching Competences in Higher Education in Natural and Mathematical Sciences – TeComp”, the rector of the University of Nis, Prof. dr Dragan Antic, visited Oviedo, where he met with the Rector of University of Oviedo, Prof. dr Ignacio Villaverde Menendez.

The goal of this meeting was sustainability of project results through the dialog on future inter-university cooperation. They have signed an agreement on future cooperation, discussed on the possibilities of the Erasmus mobility for teachers and students between these two universities, opportunities for upcoming EU projects, in which the University of Nis would play a role as a partner institution.

The Rector of the University of Nis also presented the idea of joined doctoral studies, which has been met with open arms.

At the end, the rector of the University of Nis signed the book of honor, along with many famous names. He is also the first person to have ever signed this book using Cyrillic writing, leaving a permanent mark on the famous, centuries old University.

Ректор Универзитета у Нишу у посети ректору Универзитета у Овиеду

У оквиру последњих активности на пројекту “Strengthening Teaching Competences in Higher Education in Natural and Mathematical Sciences – TeComp”, ректор Универзитета у Нишу проф. др Драган Антић, посетио je Овиједо, Шпанија, где се састао са ректором Универзитета у Овиједу Игнацијом Вилавердеом Менендезом.

Циљ овог састанка је био одрживост резултата пројекта кроз дијалог о будућој међууниверзитетској сарадњи.

Овом приликом, потписан је споразум о будућој сарадњи, разговарало се  о могућностима реализације Еразмус мобилности наставника и студената са ова два универзитета, као и о сарадњи на заједничким пројектима, у којима би универзитети били партнерске институције.

Ректор Универзитета у Нишу је изнео и идеју о заједничким докторским студијама, која је наишла на одобравање.

На крају, ректор Универзитета у Нишу се уписао у књигу части, у коју су  већ забележена  многа позната имена. Он је такође прва особа која је потписала ову књигу ћириличним писмом, остављајући вечни траг на чувеном, вековима старом универзитету.
